Michael Zomber has lived a very interesting life. He is one of the few people who actually get paid to do what they love for a living. He rose to fame because of many interviews he gave to the History Channel and A&E. He would provide useful info for some of the different historical shows that those cable networks would produce.
He was popular with viewers. Therefore, both of the networks continued to hire him for many other documentaries and specials. Zomber has a number of areas that he is considered to be an expert in.
One of those involves old firearms. This made him a very valuable resource for any special that had anything to do with the Old West.
Michael Zomber is an educated man. He went to college at the University of Illinois and received two bachelor degrees. He has been asked many times why he decided to take on such a rigorous course load at school. He has said that he wanted to challenge himself just to see if he could do it.
According to GoodReads, Michael Zomber wound up graduating with degrees in English and psychology. Interestingly, he has not used either of those degrees in his career path. He later attended UCLA where he got an English literature master’s degree.
After college, Michael was not sure what he wanted to do with his life. The thought of being an English literature professor did not seem as appealing as it once did. He then decided to follow one of his passions by writing the screenplay to a documentary film about Japanese samurai warriors.
He did this with the encouragement of his wife. It turned out to be a big success and got a great deal of critical acclaim wherever it was shown.
Zomber is also a very accomplished author. He has written several novels in the fiction and non-fiction categories. Once again, many of these novels have to deal with samurai.
