José Borghi Is A Highly Influential Advertiser In Brazil

Advertiser José Borghi was born in Presidente Prudente. He is the founder of advertising agency Borghi Lowe. Today it is known as Mullen Lowe Brazil. It is among the most important creative minds that are present in Brazil today.

José Borghi is known for launching good campaigns. All remember the famous Parmalat campaign. In this children appeared dressed up as stuffed animals. This was followed by the most popular chorus in Brazilian cuisines that is “É o Amor.”

He started his career in 1989 with Standard Ogilvy. Then he worked at Talent, FCB, DM9 / DDB as well as Leo Burnett. In 2002, José Borghi along with his partner Erh Ray founded the BorghiErh agency. It started in the backyard of Erh’s house.

In 2006, BorghiErh agency was bought by the foreign network Lowe. 2009 saw a growth of 98% over 2008. Over 634 million reais collection was reported in 2009. According to a survey by the Brazilian Institute of Public Opinion and Statistics, it reached the 4th position that year amongst advertising agencies in Brazil.

Erh Ray left this business soon after and Joseph Borghi became the president of Borghi Lowe. There were new mergers, and the agency came to be known as Mullen Lowe Brazil. José Borghi is the CEO and takes care of innovation and creativity. He works with the Brazilian publicist André Gomes, who looks after the management part of this company.

José Borghi has won 14 Cannes Festival lions, besides seven London Festival statuettes along with fifteen Abril Publicidade awards. Next are ten The One Show awards and eleven awards at The New York Festival.
